The Berk Technology incorporates the more complicated stepped diameter method of header design seen on exotic one off racing headers. Some more expensive headers still use plain constant diameter tubes.

The optional black Thermal barrier coated using High Performance Coatings (HPC) Hipercoat 1600+ process on the inside and outside of the header. Again, many more expensive headers out there only apply a coating outside just for cosmetics. The Hipercoat process helps maintain high exhaust gas velocity which is key in header design and ultimate power production. Choose the optional thermal barrier coating for the ultimate in exhaust efficiency.
