What the heck is a fender brace?

They don't actually brace the fender, but they do triangulate the front of the passenger tub to the reinforced structure at the upper shock mount. The effect is to greatly reduce the twisting of the chassis under cornering and braking loads. What you feel is more direct and linear steering response, reduced cowl shake and better responsiveness to chassis tuning adjustments.

The fender brace does not replace a shock tower brace but has a much more noticeable effect. Adding an STB further enhances rigidity of the front box structure.

The Frog Arms attach to the unit body under the front fenders.
