The uniquely tuned "lock timing" allows the diff to run looser until torque is applied. This feature give the diff a super smooth takeup when exiting corners. Datalogs show it accelerating harder than a Torsen or modified OEM clutch type under 1G+ cornering.

Optional SuperMiata Hi-Power Tune for 90-05 Miata increases driveability for engines developing much higher than stock torque. Recommended for 220whp or greater and race tires. Using the standard Spec-S tune with power above 220whp will put all the power down fine but make power oversteer too easy at less than WOT. The SuperMiata Hi-Power adjusts the diff for the extra torque available and allow smooth controllable throttle steer with engines generating 100% more power than stock (220whp+).
