Aerospace certified Chrome-Molybdenum-Vanadium alloy from Austria. This is a much stronger material than the alloys used in factory extruded lifters.
100% CNC machined from heat treated billet provides only the necessary and calculated thickness of the walls with very special shapes, providing better rigidity with an important reduction in weight.
Fully Nitrided and polished to harden the surface to about 60Rc for low wear. Higher cam lifts and rpm will submit conventional OEM lifters to an increased wear.
Surface is carefully finished by grinding it to a much lower surface roughness for reduced friction against cams and cylinder head bore, providing longer durability.
34.2 grams. The OEM lifter and shim are about 35% heavier than the Supertech lifter and shim assembly
Compatible with OEM or Supertech valve spring

Shims required are Supertech 5.5mm lash caps on the inner post of lifter.
