Features and Adjustments
Ride height is easily adjusted with the locking spring collars. The 16 position damping force adjuster is an easily reached knob on top oh each shock. Typically you can run 1-8 (stiff) damper settings for track use with race tires then in seconds adjust to 10-16 (softer) for the ride home from the track. The shock body of the SA is slightly shorter than the OE shock. This shortened body allows you to lower the car and still retain full wheel travel. No more slamming into the bump stops!
Tuning
The standard SS spring rates are 7/6kg, equivalent to 396 in/lbs front, 340 in/lbs rear. For a softer street ride choose 7/5 or 6/4. Choose 9/6 to optimize for track use although this will lead to a much firmer street ride. For a no fuss installation, set them up exactly how the included instructions show and you'll have an awesome high performance street suspension.
